The intention is to continue with the exploration into site specific art from semester 1. The physical artwork will be located at 24 sand street Kingscliff NSW.
The space is multi-purpose and currently under construction but the intention is to have it completed along with the sculpture. My wife and I are project managers of the space which has been provided by C3 Church Kingscliff. The red are of the map is the parklands where the sculpture is intended for installation with the white space containing walking tracks and bush BMX track.
The project consist of:

Vegetable gardens(complete)
2x picnic table areas
Stage/firepit/patio
2x bridges (complete)
paved walkways(complete)
Four acres of native bushland walking tracks(complete)
One carpark with reserved disabled and pram parking(complete)
One fenced children's play area(complete)
visit the following link for the progress of the project http://c3communityparklandandwalkingtrack.blogspot.com.au/
Due to its location, it will be an interactive artwork, allowing the visitor to engage with the artwork.

The space is very close to the pacific highway, there can be is a lot of highway noise in close to the road but when you are near the creek side it is quiet.

The owners of the space and local council environmental and planning division have been contacted in regards to the intention for the space, and approval for the creation of an artwork has been given by both parties.
This was achieved by inital written application and followed by verbal phone contact to negotiate terms. In particular the council wanted to know the level of environmental impact on the space, such as removal of trees and potential clearing
